Appointment of Jamoliddin Khodjimanov as the New Mayor of Gulistan City

During an extraordinary session of the Gulistan City Council of People's Deputies in the Syrdarya region on March 5, deputies approved Jamoliddin Khodjimanov as the new mayor of the city, the press service of the regional administration reported.

Jamoliddin Khodjimanov, born in 1987, graduated from the Tashkent State Agrarian University in 2011. He has worked in various organizations in the Tashkent region and city in the field of finance and economics. Prior to his appointment, he served as the First Deputy Mayor of the Chilanzar district, overseeing financial and economic issues as well as poverty reduction.

It is worth noting that on February 7, the former mayor of Gulistan City, Tulkunjon Dadabayev, was relieved of his duties at his own request due to health reasons. Gairat Botirov, the first deputy mayor responsible for financial and economic issues as well as poverty reduction, was appointed as the acting mayor in the interim.
