Uzbekistan President Expresses Condolences to Russia After Terrorist Attack

On March 23, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a phone conversation with President of Russia Vladimir Putin. The press service of the Uzbekistan President reported that Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed deep condolences to the President and people of Russia in connection with the numerous human casualties as a result of the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall concert hall in the Moscow region.

On behalf of the people of Uzbekistan, the President conveyed words of support to the families of the deceased and wishes for a speedy recovery to all those affected. He emphasized a strong condemnation of this crime against innocent people.

The President of Russia thanked the President of Uzbekistan for the words of support and readiness to provide necessary assistance. The heads of state agreed to intensify bilateral cooperation in combating security threats and ensuring sustainable development of the two countries, as stated in the message.
