Husen Tukhtaev, born in 1986 in the Akdaryinsky district of the Samarkand region, has been appointed as the deputy governor of the Samarkand region for youth policy, social development, and spiritual-enlightenment work, as announced by the regional administration's press service. Tukhtaev is a graduate of the Samarkand State University.
Prior to his current appointment in 2020, he served as the head of the regional department of the Agency for Youth Affairs of Uzbekistan.
In June 2023, it was reported that Husen Tukhtaev was fined 1.65 million sum for violating labor legislation. He instructed employees to provide written explanations for not answering his calls on a day off.
