Shakhnoza Abdulvakhitovna Sultanova has been appointed as the deputy hokim of Tashkent - the head of the Family and Women's Affairs Department. This was announced by the press service of the capital's hokimiyat.
Nodira Nigmatullayevna Umarova, who previously held this position, has been relieved of her duties due to transitioning to another job.
Shakhnoza Sultanova was born in 1982 in Tashkent. In 2003, she graduated from the Tashkent State Agrarian University. Over the years, she has held several key positions at the university.
Prior to her current appointment, she worked as the executive director of the Belarusian-Uzbek Intersectoral Institute of Applied Technical Qualifications in Tashkent.
Earlier, it was reported that Durdona Rakhimova was appointed as the deputy hokim of Tashkent for youth policy, social development, and spiritual-enlightenment work. She held this position from 2020 to 2022, after which she became the deputy minister of youth policy and sports.
