The press service of the Ministry announced new appointments in the leadership. Shokhrukh Khojiakbarovich Daliev has been appointed as the First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation. He has previously held various high-ranking positions in the Cabinet of Ministers.
He replaces Komiljon Karimov, who has now returned to his position as the Rector of the International Westminster University in Tashkent. Additionally, Otabek Mukhtorovich Makhkamov has been appointed as the Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation. Prior to this role, he held important positions in the President's Administration.
He takes over from Shahlo Turdikulova, who has been appointed as the Vice President of the Academy of Sciences. Komiljon Karimov and Shahlo Turdikulova had been in their respective positions since January 2023.
