The press service of the regional administration announced the appointment of Rustam Davutovich Suleymanov as the First Deputy Hokim of Navoi Region, responsible for financial and economic issues as well as poverty reduction.
Born in 1982 in the Shafrikansk district of the Bukhara region, Rustam Suleymanov graduated from the Tashkent State Economic University in 2004 and the Banking and Finance Academy of Uzbekistan in 2012, specializing in economics and banking.
Prior to his appointment, Suleymanov served as the Deputy Chairman of the Board of the joint-stock commercial bank "Microcreditbank".
