President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has entered a short-term leave starting from April 22nd, as announced by his press secretary Sherzod Asadov.
This is not the first time the head of state has taken a short-term leave, as he did so in December 2023, January 2022, and also in January 2021.
