Ilzat Ablahatovich Kasymov Appointed Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan

The press service of the Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade announced that Ilzat Ablahatovich Kasymov has been appointed as the Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan. The decision was made during a video conference meeting on March 7th at the Cabinet of Ministers, where the focus was on implementing agreements with foreign partners and attracting foreign investments.

The meeting was held in a critical atmosphere, emphasizing the importance of strengthening partnerships with foreign countries and ensuring the timely implementation of agreements and signed documents. It was also highlighted that special attention should be given to enhancing trade and economic relations with foreign countries, particularly with Asian nations such as China, and executing major investment projects agreed upon during previous meetings and negotiations.

Ilzat Ablahatovich Kasymov, the new Deputy Minister, previously served as a trade and economic advisor at the Uzbekistan embassy in China in 2014 and worked as the deputy governor of the Tashkent region in 2018. According to the Unified State Register of Enterprises and Organizations as of March 7th, he is a co-founder of two companies, one of which is involved in the construction of non-residential buildings.
