The Uzbekistan News Agency (UzA) has announced the appointment of Musurmonkul Abdumannonovich Khatamov as the new head of the Syrdarya district.
Born in 1986, Khatamov graduated from the Gulistan State University in 2010. Prior to his appointment, he served as an assistant to the district head, focusing on entrepreneurship development, employment, and poverty reduction in the "Izhodkor" mahalla in the Bayaut district. He also held various positions in the tax authorities of the Bayaut district, the city of Shirin, and the Akaltyn district.
Khatamov was recommended from the National Personnel Reserve of the Agency for the Development of Public Service under the President of Uzbekistan, according to the statement.
He takes over the position from Botirjon Mirzakulov.
