Uzbekistan Participants Win Big at Scriabin Competition in Paris Conservatory

Five participants from Uzbekistan have been announced as laureates at the XXI Scriabin Competition at the Alexander Scriabin Russian Conservatory in Paris, as reported on the conservatory's website.

The winners include students from the Republican Music School named after Uspensky: Amina Avazova (4th grade) - 1st prize in the Debutant category; Sultan Yusuf (9th grade) - 1st prize in the Moyen category; Said Husanova (9th grade) - 1st prize in the Elementaire category.

Additionally, graduates from the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan were also recognized: Sevinch Bakiyeva - 1st prize; Diora Shorustamova - 2nd prize in the Superiour 1 category.

All winners were trained by senior lecturer at the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan, Nigora Husanova, as stated in the announcement.

The jury was chaired by concert pianist and professor at the National Music School of Fren and the Russian Conservatory in Paris, Igor Lazko. The jury panel included pianists from France, Russia, Germany, Slovenia, Serbia, and Switzerland.

The competition is held every two years.
