In a recent operation coordinated by local law enforcement agencies in Almaty, Kazakhstan, a major drug laboratory was discovered in a country house, managed by a 22-year-old woman. The police, in collaboration with the National Security Committee, conducted a successful raid to dismantle the production of synthetic drugs.
According to the Department of Internal Affairs of the Zhetysu Region, the young woman was identified as the mastermind behind the production of synthetic narcotics in a rural area within the Iliysky district of the Almaty Region. It was revealed during interrogation that she obtained the lucrative job offer through a Telegram channel.
During the search of the country house, authorities found approximately 44 kg of mephedrone, nearly 2 kg of the synthetic substance "pyrrolidinvalerophenone – @PVP," reagents, drug manufacturing equipment, and around 28,000 US dollars in cash. Over 45 kg of synthetic drugs were confiscated, equivalent to 90,000 individual doses, verified by expert analysis.
A criminal case has been initiated against the suspect for illegal drug manufacturing, and she has been taken into custody pending further investigation. The probe is ongoing, as law enforcement officials believe the narcotics were intended for distribution within Kazakhstan.
This incident follows a previous report on the discovery of a drug laboratory in Almaty, located in the same house where the movie "Meow" was filmed. The crackdown on illicit drug production underscores the authorities' commitment to combating drug trafficking and ensuring public safety in the region.
