In Astana on April 18, 2024, at 9:30 am, the 13th court session began regarding the criminal case against the former Minister of National Economy of Kazakhstan, Kuandyk Bishimbayev, who is accused of the brutal murder of his civil wife Saltanat Nukenova.
The trial is taking place at the Specialized Inter-District Court for Criminal Cases of the capital, with Judge Ayzhan Kulbayeva presiding. On the defendants' bench are Kuandyk Bishimbayev and his brother, the director of "Gastrocenter" Bahytzhan Bayzhanov.
It is worth noting that during the 12th court process, the court rejected the request of Kuandyk Bishimbayev's lawyers to include the conclusion of a Russian specialist in the case.
