During a recent court session in Astana regarding the case of former minister Kuandyk Bishimbayev, it was revealed whether he had exerted pressure on his cousin Bakytzhan Bayzhanov. Judge Aizhan Kulbayeva disclosed that due to Bayzhanov's claim of pressure from Bishimbayev during the judicial investigation, a resolution was issued by the court to verify his allegations.

Bayzhanov stated that Bishimbayev was pressuring him to testify in his favor. The court subsequently decided to investigate Bayzhanov's claims. In response, the Astana city prosecutor's office stated that Bayzhanov's allegations were unsubstantiated.
