The attentiveness and experience of a forensic expert led to the solving of a murder in the Ulytau region. The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan reported that in March 2024, a severely burnt body of a man was found in the reeds in the region, and his identity initially could not be determined.
The investigative-operational group, including Police Major Dastan Magzumov, carefully examined the burnt hands of the man. A preserved fragment of a finger discovered by the forensic expert later helped establish the man's identity. Following this breakthrough, the police identified the deceased's circle of acquaintances and apprehended the criminals.
Two suspects have been detained and placed in temporary detention. The quality of forensic examination of the crime scene, identification, and retrieval of evidence play a crucial role in solving crimes.
In a separate incident reported earlier, a schoolboy in the Zhambyl region was beaten in a public toilet and later succumbed to his injuries. The suspect in this case has been arrested and placed in temporary detention.
