In the press service of the criminal court of Astana, it was announced on May 10th when the questions in the case of former minister Kuandyk Bishimbayev and his relative - the director of "Gastrocenter" Bakhytzhan Bayzhanov will be disclosed to the jury.
Today, in the case of Kuandyk Bishimbayev and Bakytzhan Bayzhanov, the questions to be resolved by the court with the participation of the jury have been discussed and formulated by the parties.
"Taking into account the comments and suggestions of the parties, the presiding judge retired to a consultation room to form the final list of questions for the jury. The disclosure of the list of questions with the participation of the jury will take place at 9:30 on May 13," stated the court's press service.
Earlier, it was reported that all the jury members were removed from the courtroom as the participants of the process would be discussing questions for them.
On May 2, 2024, the court announced the completion of the judicial investigation and transition to the arguments of the parties. Prosecutor Aizhan Aymaganova voiced the position of the prosecution. Later, SaltaNAT NUKENOV's brother - Aitbek AmangelDY - appealed to the jury and asked for justice.
Also, the lawyer for the victims' side, Zhanna Urazbakhova, spoke in court and stated that the guilt of Bishimbayev and Bayzhanov is fully proven by the evidence presented by the prosecution. The same opinion is held by the lawyer Damir Ishmametov.
Leila Ramazanova voiced the defense's position. The lawyer Erlan Gazymzhanov also expressed his views during the arguments. He believes that Kuandyk Bishimbayev had no motive to kill Saltanat Nukenova. The mother of the accused, Almira Nurlibekova, apologized to the relatives of SaltaNAT NUKENOV while speaking in court.
On May 3, Kuandyk Bishimbayev presented his position during the arguments.
