Amanjeldy Nukenov, the father of the murdered Saltanat Nukenova, commented on the verdict regarding Kuandyk Bishimbaev in the court's corridors on May 13.
Nukenov stated that he accepts the court's decision. "There will be no forgiveness in both worlds. We accept the 24 years of imprisonment imposed on Bishimbaev. However, we do not accept the four years given to Baijanov," he said.
He also responded to those who consider the punishment too lenient. "Thank you to everyone for the support, the whole world has shown support, thank you. And to those who say it's not enough, go to the mosque and say a prayer. There is a punishment destined for him by Allah. We accept the court's decision. I believe the judge made a fair decision," he added.
Earlier in court, the verdict in the case of the murder of Saltanat Nukenova was announced: Kuandyk Bishimbaev was sentenced to 24 years in prison.
