Healthcare remains a key focus in the development of the socio-economic sphere in East Kazakhstan. Several state programs are currently being implemented in the region, focusing on healthcare facilities. One significant project is the construction of a Hematology Center in Ust-Kamenogorsk. The center will house molecular biology and genetic laboratories, allowing for a full range of medical services from diagnosis to rehabilitation, meeting global standards. Despite funding issues, construction is set to resume with the assurance of financial support from the regional and national budgets.
Another essential project is the construction of a multi-profile hospital complex in Ridder, aimed at providing outpatient and inpatient services. Financial challenges have arisen with this project as well, emphasizing the urgency to complete construction. The need for modern healthcare facilities is evident as old buildings are no longer suitable for medical practices, highlighting the necessity for timely completion of these projects.
Furthermore, successful progress is being made in the region with the implementation of various construction projects under state programs. Initiatives like the "Auyl - El besigi" program aim to enhance the quality of life in rural areas by modernizing social infrastructure and creating a more comfortable living environment. Projects such as building clinics and sports facilities in different villages are underway, promising improved healthcare access and overall well-being for the population.
In line with the President's national project "Modernization of Rural Healthcare," 36 primary medical facilities are planned for construction in East Kazakhstan by the end of 2024. This modernization effort aims to enhance healthcare infrastructure in rural areas, ensuring timely medical assistance for residents without the need to travel to urban centers. Despite challenges faced in project implementation, authorities are taking necessary measures to overcome obstacles and ensure the completion of these vital healthcare projects within set timelines.
