On March 22, the festival of nomadic civilizations "Nauryz - berke bastauy" took place at the EXPO exhibition center in the capital. The event attracted not only local residents but also guests from different parts of the country. The festival showcased a vibrant panorama of the nomadic life of our ancestors, from yurts decorated in the finest traditions to markets selling national clothing, craft workshops, and culinary stalls where visitors could try Kazakh cuisine.

The festival program was diverse, catering to both adults and children. Young Kazakhstanis had the opportunity to explore their skills in the arts. National sports competitions were held on the premises, with the game of "asyk atu" attracting the most participants.

Musical and dance performances took place both outdoors and inside the complex. Ancient melodies played on national instruments alternated with familiar movements from the "Kara Zhorga" dance on stage.

One guest, Zhannar Abildayeva, shared her thoughts: "I believe that this is not just a holiday, but a deep immersion into the history and culture of nomads. It is important to preserve this cultural heritage. Let this festival become a symbol of unity and mutual respect among nations. Let these events remind us that our culture possesses unique knowledge and traditions."

The sight of people in national attire was a highlight of the event, with both adults and children embracing the unofficial challenge. Another festival attendee, Tolukhan Maratova, emphasized the significance of wearing national costumes as a demonstration of love and respect for traditions. She expressed the importance of adding a special touch to the festivities and turning them into a cultural procession, making it easier and more interesting for the younger generation to explore historical heritage.

Earlier, it was reported that congratulations were being received by the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, from foreign heads of state and leaders of international organizations on the occasion of the Nauryz holiday.
