International Women's Day Celebrations in Almaty Starting on March 6th

The city of Almaty is gearing up to celebrate International Women's Day with a series of events starting on March 6th. The festivities will kick off with a special event titled "Әйел – ана, әйел – нұры ғаламның" at the Chekhov Central City Library at 11:00.

Later that day at 18:30, the Alatau Traditional Art Theater will host a choir concert titled "Ән әлемі" with free admission. Meanwhile, the Almaty Museum will open a creative exhibition showcasing the works of Kazakh artists under the theme "Faces of the East," featuring around 40 paintings, graphics, and decorative arts pieces until March 14th.

On March 7th, a festive concert-play titled "Сіздер үшін, махаббатпен" will take place at the Innovation Creativity Center, followed by another celebratory concert at 15:00 in the Alatau Traditional Art Theater named "Анаға тағзым" with free entry.

Moreover, various districts of the city will host celebratory concerts on March 8th, including performances in parks, theaters, and cultural centers. The program includes a wide range of activities such as masterclasses, acrobatic shows, theatrical performances, musical numbers, and craft fairs.
