Oxford Kazakh Dictionary with 60,000 Words Published by International Society "Kazakh Language"

The International Society "Kazakh Language" has recently released the Oxford Kazakh Dictionary, comprising over 60,000 words across 1300 pages. Renowned Kazakh singer Dimash Kudaibergen shared this news on his Instagram page on March 28.

The dictionary, based on the globally renowned methodology of compiling Oxford dictionaries, is published with the support and official participation of the prestigious Oxford University Press. Dimash mentioned that it took four years to compile the dictionary, with the involvement of professional linguists, scholars, qualified translators, editors, and over 50 specialists from Kazakhstan.

As an active user of the English language, Dimash invited everyone to explore and use the dictionary daily, wishing success to the initiative of the International Society "Kazakh Language." He emphasized the importance of supporting such crucial projects that enhance the status and usage of the Kazakh language.

In other news, Dimash Kudaibergen recently visited Almaty, where he performed at Astana Square in front of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, city residents, and guests. The concert was organized as part of the celebration of Nauryz.
