Minister of Culture and Information Aida Balaeva addressed the Kazakhstani people on March 29, 2024, with an important announcement. She revealed the launch of the unique project "Qazaq Culture" in Kazakhstan, aimed at promoting the country's cultural heritage and national brand with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information.
The informational and educational platform was established in 2024 to attract global attention to Kazakhstan's cultural diversity. Balaeva emphasized the importance of promoting cultural values both domestically and internationally as a top priority set by the country's leadership.
Expanding on Facebook, Balaeva mentioned that the project covers eight languages, including six official UN languages, Kazakh, and Turkish. This inclusivity allows people worldwide to explore museums, libraries, theaters, national cinema and music treasures, exhibitions, museum-reserves, theatrical productions, Kazakhstan's film industry, libraries, archives, tourist destinations, crafts, handicrafts, and architectural achievements.
Moreover, the portal will heavily utilize information technologies. "Qazaq Culture" will enable visitors to virtually explore Kazakhstan's regions and landmarks through 3D tours. Additionally, using artificial intelligence, every site visitor can transform their photo and see themselves as a warrior of the Great Steppe. Balaeva welcomed everyone to the site, expressing confidence that it offers a wealth of useful and interesting information.
