Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs Expresses Condolences to Kazakhstan Over Floods

The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed condolences to the people of Kazakhstan on April 7th in connection with the massive floods. The ministry emphasized that Turkey is ready to provide any necessary assistance to Kazakhstan.

"We deeply mourn the devastating floods in various regions of Kazakhstan, which have led to serious consequences and forced tens of thousands of our Kazakh brothers and sisters to evacuate. We express our condolences to the people and government of Kazakhstan," the statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs read.

Earlier on April 7th, Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Kanat Bozumbaev informed during a briefing at the CSC when the flood peaks are expected in several regions. He also urged residents of Atyrau not to panic, stating that the situation in the city and region is under control.
