On March 6, 2024, in court № 2 of Pavlodar, a criminal case of hooliganism involving the use of gas weapons was reviewed. The defendant turned out to be the head of the personnel policy department of the KUIS MVD RK training center.

It was established in court that in January 2023, the defendant fired several shots at two men with a gas pistol equipped with light-noise and gas cartridges in the parking lot in front of a billiard club on Suraganov Street in Pavlodar. The men fled, and the police officer fled the crime scene.

The defendant was also stripped of the special rank of "police lieutenant colonel."

The verdict has not yet entered into legal force.
