Kazakhstani Citizens Double Contributions to Flood Relief Fund

Kazakhstanis continue to donate to the "Қазақстан халқына" fund to help those affected by the recent floods in the regions. As of April 9th, the fund received 970 million tenge from individuals and legal entities. Just a few days later, on April 12th, fresh data from the fund showed a total of 1 billion 813 million 376 thousand tenge received from 55 legal entities and 265 individuals.

This rapid increase in donations means that compassionate Kazakhstani citizens have doubled the amount of money transferred to the fund for their fellow citizens in distress. The "Қазақстан халқына" fund had previously announced that the assistance amount from the fund would reach 10 billion tenge.

On April 4th, it was reported that many caring Kazakhstani citizens wanted to help those affected by the floods and had already transferred over 630 million tenge to the fund. The fund urges the use of the accounts and details specified only on the official website for donations.

For individuals, transfers are available through mobile banking applications under the "Charity" section. The generosity and solidarity of the Kazakhstani people in times of crisis continue to shine through as they come together to support their fellow citizens in need.
