In Almaty, the campaign "Almaty - Our Common Home" continues to unite city residents and the business community in various community initiatives. Citizens have been actively engaging in activities such as tree planting for Valentine's Day, supporting veterans, refurbishing children's and sports playgrounds, and participating in city improvement contests and projects.

In the recent phase of the campaign, named "Our City - Our Yard, Our Home," key areas for citizen involvement were identified based on numerous requests. With support from local authorities, residents have renovated and painted playgrounds, planted trees in apartment courtyards, and cleaned up ravines, canals, and riverbeds. Well-known personalities including athletes, artists, and public figures have joined in the efforts. A total of 3618 courtyard areas have been cleaned in collaboration with local communities.

Residents interested in greening their surroundings were provided with 3,000 seedlings for their plots, resulting in the planting of over 10,000 deciduous trees. Additionally, the city administration distributed 1.5 thousand liters of paint materials for painting fences, benches, and gazebos.

In a heartwarming response to the "Help Your Neighbor" initiative, citizens and volunteers assisted 98 individuals in need, including WWII veterans, isolated pensioners, and people with disabilities. Activities included garden tidying, tree pruning, garbage removal, and fence restoration at private residences.

Schools hosted events such as the "School Yard Oasis" festival where children planted trees, and the "Gift a Home for Birds" challenge which saw the installation of over 1,000 birdhouses in various locations. University students, youth groups, and volunteer organizations partook in eco-friendly initiatives like waste collection, clean-up drives, and tree planting events.

Furthermore, private businesses actively participated in environmental challenges, contributing to the cleanliness of the city through initiatives like plogging and the establishment of a newlywed alley in Guldery Park. Extensive cleaning efforts have been undertaken citywide, including the washing of public infrastructure and road repair works covering more than 26,500 square meters of asphalt.
