Kazakhstan Charity Foundation and Regional Administration Sign Memorandum for Flood Victims Housing Project

The Kazakhstan People's Foundation and the administration of the West Kazakhstan region have signed a memorandum to build residential houses for citizens affected by floods in the Syrym district of the West Kazakhstan region.

"Our land, our people have faced a natural disaster, the consequences of which are very sad. But we hope that by joint efforts we will be able to quickly rebuild new houses and help those in need. The Foundation will allocate 10 billion tenge for this purpose as decided by the Board of Trustees, as well as additional funds from caring Kazakhs and business representatives," said Lazzat Chinkisbayeva, Deputy Chairman of the Kazakhstan People's Foundation.

"The head of state has instructed to provide housing for flood-affected residents. In this regard, the Kazakhstan People's Foundation is providing assistance. Residential houses will be built in the Syrym district of the West Kazakhstan region. The affected residents will not be left without housing, and the state will provide maximum assistance," noted Nariman Turegaliev, the head of the West Kazakhstan region administration.
