Football Fans of FC Aktobe and Kairat Face Legal Consequences in Almaty

in Society / Kazakhstan - by

Football fans of FC Aktobe and Kairat have been held accountable by Almaty law enforcement officers.

The official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Shyngys Alekeshev, stated that the reason for this was the use of foul language and the pollution of public places. In addition, penalties were imposed for minor hooliganism, violation of behavior rules at sports events, and consuming alcoholic beverages in public places.

"It is important to emphasize that such behavior not only damages the institution of football fans, but also the image of the entire country. It is possible and necessary to support your teams emotionally, but strictly within the framework of the law. Without offending opponents or ordinary citizens with your behavior," Alekeshev said.

He also reminded that every unlawful action that disrupts public order will inevitably lead to accountability.

Aktobe is confidently leading in the QFL-2024. On April 20, the football club from West Kazakhstan defeated Almaty's Kairat away with a score of 3:1.
