Residents of the region, including employees of 5222 enterprises and social facilities, took part in the improvement of the territories of 60 historical and cultural monuments, 143 parks, over a thousand yards, and the cleaning of 8300 reservoirs.
"The President of the country emphasized the importance of implementing the culture of maintaining cities in a dignified and attractive condition. The Kazakhs have a saying: 'Let a tree remain in memory of a person, rather than a herd.' Residents of villages, employees of state institutions, representatives of ethno-cultural associations, businesses, and students are involved in the environmental campaign," said Erbol Karashukeev.
