Kairat Nurtas, a Kazakh singer, found himself in trouble with the law once again on April 29th, this time for using foul language during a concert.
A video circulating on Kaznet shows the singer swearing on stage during a concert. The police stated, "The singer, caught using foul language in a public place on video, has been held accountable. He has been fined 20 MRP for minor hooliganism."
Earlier today, on April 29th, it was reported that Kairat Nurtas was fined for not wearing a seatbelt while driving, adding to a series of recent legal incidents involving the artist. In late March 2023, it was reported that the beloved Kazakh singer was seen driving through the central square in Taldykorgan. Interestingly, Kairat Nurtas himself captured the traffic violation on video. The police noted that "during investigative measures, the 45-year-old driver of the car was detained in Almaty and held accountable under Article 601 ('Failure to comply with the requirements prescribed by road signs') of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan." Subsequent violations were also reported. On August 28, 2023, Kairat Nurtas's vehicle was involved in a serious traffic violation in the Kordai district of the Zhambyl region.
