During the sacred month of Ramadan and the Oraza-Ait holiday, Kazakhstan has emerged as one of the main destinations for tourists from the United Arab Emirates. According to data shared by the press service of the National Company "Kazakh Tourism", these findings were based on information from the global air travel search system Skyscanner.
Specialists highlight that the preferred departure date for UAE residents is April 2, 2024. More than half of those surveyed prefer trips lasting a week or less. The top desired vacation destinations include Kazakhstan at 195%, Seychelles at 115%, Cyprus at 99%, Japan at 90%, Vietnam at 81%, and Oman at 78%.
Expert Ayub El Mamun emphasizes that the choice of destinations can be explained by UAE residents' desire to enjoy a peaceful holiday during Eid al-Fitr. Earlier, a correspondent from Zakon.kz learned from the chief imam of the Central Mosque in Almaty, Timur Aliev, about the proper way to observe Oraza, including what to do and what not to do during fasting.
