The Ministry of Internal Affairs considers this extortion case by criminal structures as a threat to the national security of the country. A criminal case was initiated based on a complaint filed by the local government officials in the Osh region regarding the extortion of a large sum of money.

The detained individuals have been charged with the crime, and the Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek has ordered their arrest as a preventive measure. Investigative and operational activities are ongoing to identify other individuals involved in the crime.
