Law enforcement officers have detained a man who was declared wanted 17 years ago for cattle theft. This information was reported by the press service of the internal affairs department of Issyk-Kul region.
According to their data, on April 24 and 25, a special operation "Search" was carried out throughout the region, during which 46-year-old S.M. was detained.
"In November 2006, S.M. along with his accomplices A.T. and U.K. stole two horses in the village of Ak-Terek in the Jeti-Oguz district. At that time, two men were detained, but S.M. managed to escape. In 2007, he was declared wanted," the police said.
The detainee was taken to the investigative service for further proceedings.
