Court Employee from Uzgen District Court Arrested for Fraudulent Activities

in Crime / Kyrgyzstan - by

The press center of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) reported the detention of a court employee for fraud. According to the information provided, the employee from the administrative and economic department of the court in the Osh region, identified as I.T.Z., demanded $2,000 for assistance in a favorable resolution of a property dispute in a civil case.

On April 24, I.T.Z. was apprehended, and during the search of his car and house, authorities discovered $150,000 soms previously handed over by the plaintiff.

It was revealed that I.T.Z., in his capacity as a court employee, was providing intermediary services for resolving specific issues related to civil and criminal cases being heard in court.

The GKNB highlighted the unfortunate reality faced by citizens in seeking justice and protecting their legal rights. They noted that individuals often resort to various means of defense to prevent unjust decisions, and in many cases, they fall victim to intermediaries who exploit their problems through fraudulent methods. These intermediaries include court employees, lawyers, and other dubious individuals.

The GKNB urged the public not to engage with individuals promising to influence court decisions but instead to submit complaints to the relevant authorities.
