South-Western Customs intercepts jewelry smuggling worth 1.5 million soms

South-Western Customs has intercepted the smuggling of jewelry worth almost 1.5 million soms. The Customs Service reported this.

According to the data, at the international airport "Osh", a Kyrgyzstani woman A.M.L., born in 1973, was detained for concealing jewelry (rings, chains, earrings, and bracelets) weighing a total of 298 grams from customs control.

The average market value of the seized jewelry was 1,482,978 soms. The collected materials have been handed over to the Osh Regional Prosecutor's Office.
