In Bishkek, a monument to the letter "Ы" will be erected. This was reported by the "Rossiyskaya Gazeta v Kyrgyzstane".
It is noted that the art object will be unveiled by "Rossiyskaya Gazeta" and the Bishkek City Hall on April 29, on the City Day, in the capital's park "Yntymak".
The letter "Ы" is a monument to the sacred and meaningful definition of Kyrgyzstan. The Kyrgyz-Russian dictionary contains over 600 words starting with the letter "Ы". Thanks to the presence of this sound and corresponding letter in the Kyrgyz language, the brands "Kyrgyz", "Kyrgyz people", "Kyrgyzstan" have become well and sincerely perceived in the world," as noted by the publication.
The art object will be equipped with a QR code that will direct visitors to basic information about Kyrgyzstan: geographical information, a brief history of the country and its people, a brief Russian-Kyrgyz dictionary, and a phrasebook. The information will be published in two languages: the state language Kyrgyz and the official language Russian.
