The line for free kidney transplants in Kyrgyzstan has reached nearly 200 people, as reported by the Minister of Health, Alymkadyr Beyshenaliev. Seven free operations have already been conducted, with several patients currently undergoing preparatory processes. The minister noted that bone marrow transplants will begin soon, followed by liver transplants.

In early 2024, it was announced that Kyrgyzstan's President, Sadyr Japarov, instructed for kidneys to be transplanted free of charge to over 2,500 Kyrgyz citizens receiving dialysis. The Ministry of Health emphasized that citizens can inquire about kidney transplants at the National Center for Maternal and Child Health from Monday to Friday, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM, contacting Nasyra Beyshebayeva, Head of the Nephrology Department, at 0700627716, or Mirbek Bayzakov, Head of the Transplantology Department, at 0550227701.
