Employees of Bishkekasfaltservice held a rally at the city hall demanding a pay raise, as reported by "Azattyk." According to one of the enterprise's employees, they managed to meet with Mayor Aybek Dzhunushaliev. The mayor instructed the management of the enterprise to consider the issue of increasing wages to be "in accordance with the Labor Code norms."
It is worth noting that in November 2023, the heads of Bishkekasfaltservice were dismissed for failing to meet deadlines for capital repairs of sidewalks, untimely and inadequate control over subcontractors, and systematic poor preparation of materials for roads and sidewalks. The municipal enterprise was then led by Turusbek Tumonbaev, the father-in-law of President Sadyr Japarov.
