A Kyrgyz woman who had been missing for ten years was recently discovered in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. The Police Department in Astana reported that the woman was found and brought in for identity verification.
It was later revealed that she was originally from Kyrgyzstan. In 2014, the now 36-year-old woman had moved to Kazakhstan and lost touch with her family and friends. With the help of the Kyrgyz Embassy in Kazakhstan, the police in Astana successfully located the woman's brother. Subsequently, the family was reunited in the capital city of Kazakhstan.
