In the night from the 5th to the 6th of April, the Central Republican Mosque named after Imam Sarakhsi in Bishkek celebrated Kadir Night. Kadir Night, also known as the Night of Decree, is considered a night of blessings and goodness. According to the Quran, it is better than a thousand months, which is equivalent to 83 years and 4 months. It is customary on this night to ask for forgiveness for sins and to read the Quran.

It is important not to spend this night in entertainment venues. Kadir Night is observed at home or in the mosque. Kadir Night, known as "Кадыр түн" in Kyrgyz, translates to Night of Decree in Russian and as Laylatul Qadr or Al-Qadr in Arabic.
