A ten-month-old Belgian Shepherd named Kira from Belgium has been sent to serve with the EMERCOM rescuers. The agency's press service reported that the puppy was handed over to the Republican Separate Rescue Unit by Altynbek Tashiev, a resident of the village of Kurshab in the Uzgen district.
"It is worth noting that search and rescue operations, along with rescuers, are also carried out by dogs distinguished by extraordinary patience and high intelligence. Among them is the Belgian Shepherd," stated the EMERCOM.
They also recalled that in 2023, during an earthquake in Turkey, a dog named Chipa participated in rescue operations and managed to save people trapped under the rubble.
