The President of the closed joint-stock company "Kumtor Gold Company," Almazbek Baryktabasov, participated in a ceremony to deliver assistance to socially vulnerable residents of the Ton and Jeti-Oguz districts of the Issyk-Kul region. The company announced that as part of its social commitments, they allocated 18 million soms to purchase 200 pregnant cows.
"We are handing over one pregnant cow with a calf to 100 families from Ton and 100 families from Jeti-Oguz districts of the Issyk-Kul region today. This is our contribution to the efforts made by President Sadyr Japarov to reduce poverty. I hope that the aid provided will help improve the well-being of 200 families in the Issyk-Kul region," emphasized Almazbek Baryktabasov.
The company highlighted that they actively support various projects related to irrigation, providing clean drinking water to the population, establishing mini-production facilities, supporting medical and educational institutions, and assisting socially vulnerable groups.
Moreover, in 2023, the closed joint-stock company transferred $8,389,000 to the Development Fund of the Issyk-Kul region.
