First Ethnocultural Exhibition of Kyrgyzstan Opens in Chicago

The first ethnocultural exhibition of Kyrgyzstan has opened in Chicago, as announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The exhibition showcases a variety of artifacts reflecting the uniqueness of Kyrgyz culture and history.

The event has become a true celebration of Kyrgyz culture and traditions, attracting the attention of both the Kyrgyz diaspora in the USA and all enthusiasts of culture and art. Visitors had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich cultural heritage of Kyrgyzstan, enjoy Kyrgyz national dishes, a vibrant program of dances, komuz performances, and many other engaging activities, as noted by the ministry.

The Consul General, Bolotbek Borbiev, shared that the exhibition will eventually evolve into a museum, aiming to celebrate the rich culture and history of the Kyrgyz people for the younger generation in the USA.

The event was organized by the Kyrgyz Community Center with the support of the Consulate General of Kyrgyzstan in Chicago.
