In the upcoming "Immortal Regiment" march, military personnel from the Bishkek Garrison will take part, as announced by Belik Abdrahmanov, Deputy Chief of the Main Directorate of Educational Work of the General Staff of the Armed Forces. The Ministry of Defense aims to involve more personnel in the event this year.
Last year, portraits of Victory Marshals were carried by cadets from the Military Lyceum, along with portraits of Kyrgyzstanis who were Heroes of the Soviet Union and full Cavaliers of the Order of Glory. This year, soldiers from the Bishkek Garrison will also be included.
The Ministry of Defense has tasked all units and military commissariats to support the event in various cities. Coordination for the "Immortal Regiment - Kyrgyzstan" movement in Bishkek has already begun, with Zulfira Khaibullina expressing gratitude to the Ministry of Defense for their assistance in organizing the march.
Former Commander of the National Guard, Lieutenant General Abdygul Chotbayev, highlighted the popular nature of the event, emphasizing its growth in participation each year. The march remains a powerful patriotic movement in the country.
Organizers confirmed that the route of the march in Bishkek will remain unchanged, starting at the South Gates and proceeding along Baytik Batyr/Abdrahmanov Street to Victory Square.
