On April 27th, the official opening of the motorcycle season will take place in Bishkek as announced by the organizers. This event, considered the most significant in the motorcycling culture, will kick off the 2024 season in collaboration with the "Bilim Aitysh" project by Manaschi, Internews, and the Kyrgyz National Theater "Manas".
Bikers are reminding motorists and pedestrians to be vigilant on the roads and to adhere to traffic rules. The motorcycle procession will navigate through the capital's central streets under the supervision of traffic police before culminating in a festive concert program at Victory Square.
This year, over 300 motorcyclists from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Russia will participate in the season opening under the slogan "Aikol Manas. Küch birdikte!" ("Manas the Generous. Strength in Unity!"), accompanied by tracks blending excerpts from the epic with modern musical arrangements.
The event program includes performances by young Manaschi, as well as entertainment and sports games, and contests with an ethnic theme. The event is organized by the Motorcycle Community of Kyrgyzstan and motorcycle clubs in Bishkek under the auspices of the Central Asian Motorcycle Association.
