Karakol Ski Base Road to Receive 60 Million Som Repair Project

The repair of the automobile road from Karakol to the Karakol ski base will cost more than 60 million som, as reported on the state procurement portal. The announcement was made by the Department of Road Management under the Ministry of Transport and Communications.

The road that is set to be repaired spans a distance of 3.295 kilometers. The works are expected to be completed within 90 calendar days from the date of signing the contract by both parties. Applications are being accepted until May 17th.

In March, the Ministry of Transport and Communications announced plans to renovate the road leading to the ski base. The project includes laying asphalt, constructing sidewalks, and a bicycle path.

The initiative aims to improve the infrastructure and enhance accessibility to the popular Karakol ski base, providing a smoother and safer journey for visitors and locals alike.
