Kyrgyzstan Crowns Best Russian Language Teacher in Annual Competition

In a recent announcement by the "Russian House" Telegram channel, Ekaterina Bashmanova has been named the best Russian language teacher in Kyrgyzstan. Bashmanova, who teaches at a school in the country, was recognized for her outstanding contribution to education.

Additionally, special prizes were awarded to Aigul Djunsaeva from the village of Tepke in the Issyk-Kul region, and Elmira Kumushbekova from the village of Lenin-Zhol in the Chui region. The winner will be invited to attend professional development courses or a professional forum in Russia, while the runners-up will receive a minimum of 200 books and textbooks for their school, and participants will receive at least 100 books.

Organizers stated that the annual competition aims to celebrate Kyrgyz women who have made significant contributions to the social, economic, spiritual, and cultural development of the country, as well as strengthening ties with Russia. The award is presented in 11 categories.

This year, Russotrudnichestvo supported two categories in the competition. In addition to teachers of Russian language, the organization will also recognize the best volunteers among participants aged 14 to 19.
