Healthcare Regulatory Authority in Kyrgyzstan Successfully Negotiates Price Reductions with Private Medical Institutions

The State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic (GKNB) recently held meetings with representatives from major private medical institutions to discuss the quality of services and pricing policies. As a result, agreements were reached to reduce prices on all laboratory tests by up to 30% for several prominent companies.

Notable companies such as "Intelmed" (Laboratory of Bonetsky), "Aqualab," "Eurolab," "Gemotest," "Express-Plus," "Medicana," "Lazmed Clinic," "Human," "Inter-Lab" (Invitro), "Intermedical," and "Farwater" have committed to lowering their prices. Similarly, suppliers of reagents like Uni-Help LLC, Lab-Service, Kokomeren, Yurfa, El-Farm, Medix-Eles, Medcenter.kzh, Bi-Health-Farm, Erai-Farm, Farwater, Meer-Chop, Miramed and Co, BiLive, Meditek, Medi-Progress, and Daira-Farm have agreed to reduce prices by up to 15%.

Furthermore, Yurfa LLC has reduced prices for tomography services by 20%. Similar price reduction initiatives will be implemented with other private medical institutions. An agreement has been reached with Intelmed LLC - Laboratory of Bonetsky to provide discounted services up to 50% for patients referred by physicians from state medical institutions.

GKNB in Kyrgyzstan continues its efforts to regulate service prices in laboratories and medical institutions, as well as to enhance control over the activities of employees in state medical institutions who facilitate the use of services from private medical organizations.
