Five Public Transport Drivers in the Capital Fired for Serious Traffic Violations

In a recent announcement by the city's press office, it was revealed that five public transport drivers in the capital have been dismissed due to serious traffic violations. According to the statement, the Bishkek Passenger Automobile Transport Enterprise is continuously working on preventing road traffic incidents.

Based on the decisions of the enterprise's internal commission, which meets weekly, five public transport drivers have been suspended from work for serious traffic violations, while 18 others have had their bonuses revoked. Previously, five drivers were also dismissed and three had their bonuses revoked for similar violations.

The municipal authorities emphasized that in order to prevent road accidents involving public transport, the Bishkek Passenger Automobile Transport Enterprise is conducting tests to assess the drivers' knowledge of traffic regulations.
