The Moscow District Court of Tver has ordered a two-month arrest for a Russian and Tajik citizen accused of fictitiously registering two individuals involved in the terrorist attack at "Crocus City Hall," as reported by Meduza. The accused, identified as Ashurov, is charged under Article 322.2 of the Criminal Code for fictitious registration of residence. According to the allegations, Ashurov fictitiously registered the brothers Dilovar and Aminchon Islomov.
They are accused of providing shelter, a car, and transporting money for the terrorists who attacked "Crocus City Hall" on March 22. Both brothers were arrested on terrorism charges. The court's statement mentioned that Ashurov fully admitted his guilt. Due to close relatives residing in Tajikistan, investigators requested his arrest fearing he might flee. The maximum penalty for fictitious registration is up to three years of imprisonment. The Islomov brothers and their father, Isroil, were arrested on March 25, three days after the attack.
By then, four main perpetrators were already in custody, with the Islomovs allegedly assisting the terrorists with a car and accommodation. The Islomov brothers voluntarily went to the Investigative Committee upon recognizing the car used by the terrorists. Aminchon Islomov declared his innocence during the court hearing. All three appealed their arrests, yet the Moscow City Court upheld their detention.
