The Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of Russia (RANEPA) and the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Tajikistan have signed an agreement to collaborate on training specialists in preventing extremism among youth.
The agreement involves developing a joint qualification enhancement program called "Methods for Preventing Youth Involvement in Extremist and Terrorist Groups."
As per RANEPA's press service, the program is scheduled to start in May 2024, with an initial cohort of 30 participants.
Recruitment will be overseen by the Tajikistan Agency for Civil Service Affairs in partnership with the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Tajikistan. The training will be conducted by RANEPA's faculty and experts through a combination of in-person classes and distance learning technologies.
